"Furzipups the Rumbling Dragon" as a puppet show in the theater tent at Postacker: Thursdays through Saturdays at 5 p.m., through August 29.
A little dragon who doesn’t breathe fire but farts—and that’s exactly what makes him a hero. The Giessen Puppet Theater brings “Furzipups the Rattling Dragon” to the stage with hand-operated puppets, staying true to the original story and with great attention to detail.
The show is performed in the theater’s own tent at Postacker, marking its sixth appearance in Rerik. The performance lasts 45 minutes and takes place in the tent, so it’s not affected by the weather.
Performances begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. The box office opens 30 minutes beforehand right at the tent; seating is first-come, first-served. Groups of 10 or more can reserve specific seats.
The family-run company has been performing since 1970 and tours the Baltic Sea coast with its tent every summer.
