Louisa lives in the USA. She has found a "treasure chest". It contains the secrets of her family history. Collected over 100 years and carried from Rostock to Florida.
Her great-grandfather was Richard Siegmann, once director of the Rostock tramway.
Exposed to the abysses of German and world history, her ancestors tried to survive. Her grandparents succeeded. How did they manage it?
The answer is in the box that Louisa gave us Rostockers. The box that we opened and unpacked.
