A cheerful Low German afternoon at the Kröpeliner Mühle with Anke Gohsmann and Wolfgang Kniep
When the autumn leaves are dancing outside and the wind is blowing around the mill, things get cozy, fun, and wonderfully Low German here!
Anke Gohsmann and Wolfgang Kniep invite you to an entertaining afternoon full of humor, music, and the North German way of life. Look forward to amusing anecdotes about the great Low German poet Fritz Reuter—because with him, there’s always something to tell, and with us, something to laugh about!
Anke will also treat us to her Low German songs and her incomparable voice, which goes straight to the heart and is guaranteed to put everyone in a good mood. And who knows—maybe your vocal cords will start itching soon, and you’ll find yourselves happily singing along. Don’t worry: off-key notes are allowed—the main thing is that your heart sings along!
Of course, a cozy chat is a must. The mill association will provide delicious cake and freshly brewed coffee to ensure that the sweet side of life isn’t neglected.
Whether you’re a longtime local, a curious newcomer, or just someone who loves to laugh, sing, and meet nice people—everyone is warmly welcome here!
So: Put on your hat, head to the mill, and get in the good mood!
We’re looking forward to a cozy autumn afternoon full of stories, music, coffee, cake, and lots of laughter.
Because as the saying goes: Low German isn’t just a language—it’s heart, humor, and home!
