Public guided tour of the historic old town with the Greifswald night watchman
Join the Greifswald night watchmen on a stroll through the alleys of the historic old town. Armed with halberds, they maintain peace and order and protect their companions from thieves and drunken riffraff. As darkness falls and by the light of a lantern, they share curious, spine-chilling, and entertaining tales from times long past—from the founding of Greifswald to the “Gray Monastery” and the murder of Heinrich Rubenow.
