Frederick II—the Great!—and the Miller of Sanssouci
Unbelievable: For over 30 years, Frederick II, King of Prussia—the Great!—and his rebellious neighbor, the miller Grävenitz, have been meeting at the virtual garden fence between the castle and the mill. Based on the traditional legend that the king wants to take the mill away from the miller, the most delightful neighborhood feud unfolds, in which anachronism becomes the order of the day. Here, schadenfreude reigns; quick wit blends with wisdom; and high politics is laughed off. “Hurrah, the Third Ten!” pushes the relationship between neighbors to its limits once again, presenting two neighbors who couldn’t be more different—yet simply can’t stand to be without each other. Prussia has never been this much fun!
