An ironic regional history for locals, new residents and tourists - by and with Wolf Schmidt
On the Saturday before the first Sunday of Advent, November 28, 2026, the Alte Pferdestall Fahren e. V. invites you to a festive sing-along to kick off the pre-Christmas season, starting at 4:00 p.m.
We’ll sing together—just join in and enjoy a cozy get-together with coffee, cookies, cake, and punch. In the hall on the ground floor of the Alter Pferdestall Fahren, the fire will be crackling in the wood-burning stove, and outside, fire pits will provide warmth and a festive atmosphere in front of the stable.
Songbooks will be provided—a great opportunity to brush up on your singing and get into the Christmas spirit. Just bring your voices and good cheer. Instruments, cake, and cookies are welcome. It’s also a great chance to swap recipes for the Advent season.
We’ll meet from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the lovingly restored “Alter Pferdestall Fahren” in the Fahren district of Zurow.
When the registered cultural association Alter Pferdestall Fahren e. V. isn’t using this idyllically situated venue for concerts, readings, or similar events, it can be rented for weddings, family celebrations, corporate events, or as vacation accommodations, offering spacious rooms for groups and/or families.
Fahren is conveniently located, just 3 km from the Zurow highway exit: tucked away in the countryside, yet still close to everything.
Admission is free (but feel free to bring a cake or some cookies).
