The Glenn Miller Orchestra is setting out on another major European tour in the 2026–2027 season with its new program, “Swing Forever”!
Under the direction of Uli Plettendorff, the audience can look forward to a rousing concert experience centered entirely on the music that was originally meant for dancing: swing! Whether in Italy, Malta, Poland, the Baltic States, Bulgaria, Switzerland, or the Czech Republic—the swing fever is sure to catch on everywhere.
With classics like “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “Tuxedo Junction,” and, of course, “In the Mood,” the orchestra delivers an authentic big-band sound and an atmosphere that invites you to tap your feet, sway along, or even dance. “At every concert, I encourage our audience—anyone who feels like it can get up from their seat and dance,” says bandleader Uli Plettendorff.
