Gainesville was founded in May 2019 by experienced and enthusiastic musicians.

Gainesville was founded in May 2019 by experienced and enthusiastic musicians.

Gainesville is the birthplace of Tom Petty and we are the only Tom Petty tribute band in Germany. Of course we play the hits that everyone knows. In addition, we also play rarities and songs that shaped Tom Petty's development - rock'n'roll by Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran and the Byrds as well as the occasional surprise.

In addition to a good and authentic sound, we provide a "straight in your face" stage presentation - rousing and passionate: Anyone who experiences an evening with Gainesville can look forward to a full pack of rock and will go home with a smile on their face.
