Discussion with Teresa Bücker, Mithu Sanyal, and Valerie Schönian | Moderator: Hadija Haruna-Oelker
Whether it’s the climate crisis, the housing shortage, or healthcare reform: The Feminist Press Roundtable examines the current landscape of public debate and adds perspectives that are otherwise lost or marginalized.
These perspectives are all the more important during election campaigns—feminist perspectives emerge from the heart of society, beyond party politics. In addition to journalists Mithu Sanyal, Teresa Bücker, and Hadija Haruna-Oelker, Valerie Schönian—a prominent voice from the new federal states—is also participating: Schönian, born in 1990 in Saxony-Anhalt, writes regularly as a freelance journalist for ZEIT IM OSTEN and pays particular attention to what matters to people here.
Wait, is this “women only”? Of course not: Feminism is not a matter of gender.
