Cinematic art meets pleasure
Food, enjoyment and the environment are the focus of the Culinary Nature FilmCinema. As a member of the ländlichfein initiative, the chefs at Hotel Haferland present small, organically produced delicacies from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The nature and environmental films shown after the menu are mostly award-winning and show the beauty of the planet, but also how fragile life on earth is. Enjoy this experience for all the senses and a foretaste of the 22nd Darßer NaturfilmFestival, which will take place from October 6 to 11, 2026.
Film "Aquarela "
AQUARELA takes the audience on an unusual cinematic journey and tells of the breathtaking power of the earth's most precious element in poetic images. From Siberia's frozen Lake Baikal, the deepest and oldest freshwater lake on earth, to the deadly waves of Hurricane Irma in Miami and the overwhelming natural backdrop of the highest waterfall Salto Ángel in Venezuela, water is the strong protagonist in AQUARELA. With great sensitivity and magnificent images, AQUARELA captures moments of great beauty as well as destruction and devastation.
