Since its founding in 2012, the Rostock-based trio “10 vor Eins” has explored a wide range of styles within acoustic music. The audience can look forward to stirring, emotional klezmer pieces, thoughtful original songs that bring a smile to your face, as well as a few surprises that defy categorization.
What makes this evening at the elegant Max-Samuel-Haus special is that the band will be temporarily joined by two artists who played key roles in their predecessor band, “Halb und Halb.”
Dörte Lehmann, who is also a successful fashion designer in Lower Saxony and plays the accordion, and Gabriele “Zugabi” Kienast, a fully trained and highly experienced violinist (Keimzeit, Symphonic Pop Orchestra, Les Bumms Boys, among others), know how to round out the musical program and enhance it with their contributions.
