Concert
Singer-songwriter and Seilschaft vocalist Christian Haase is embarking on a solo tour, and with “aber einmal” he brings to the stage exactly what has defined his performances for years: attitude, humor, and an authenticity that’s all too often missing in the highly stylized world of culture.
Haase is no man for polished platitudes. His songs tell of real-life upheavals and turning points, of the courage to swim against the current, of encounters away from the constant digital noise, and of his experiences as a commuter between concerts and his everyday life as an orange and olive farmer in Sicily.
On stage, he is not a self-promoter, but an authentic storyteller who carries on the traditions of German singer-songwriters while remaining fully anchored in the here and now. Featuring songs from all his albums and the repertoire of the band Seilschaft, “aber einmal” is a powerful plea for the irrationality of the heart—and thus an evening for everyone who knows, or wants to be reminded, that it’s never too late to take that first step.
