Art:Open 2026 in Vorpommern

Art:Open 2026 - "Die Nordlichter" artists' colony in the St. Thomas Church in Tribsees

A place full of light, sound and inspiration: from May 23 to 25, 2026, the Northern Lights will transform the venerable St. Thomas Church in Tribsees into a space of living art. Five artists - Wolf Herondis, Kathy H.-Teufel, Halvar Maurice van Bierk, Tobias Biering and Michael Hube - will be showing their very own handwriting: from sensitive paintings and experimental compositions to fascinating works of AI art.

Each work tells a story, each conversation opens up new horizons. Visitors are invited to talk directly to the artists about ideas, techniques and the magic of their work - in the special ambience of a sacred space that combines art and contemplation.

Opening hours:
23.05. - 25.05.2026 10:00-18:00 each day
(Attention: on 24.05. only open from 11:30 am)

Highlight:
On May 24 from 18:00-20:00, the performance of the young natural talent Jason Ruben will accompany the artist presentation with organ music - an impressive combination of sound, space and art.

Immerse yourself in the world of the Northern Lights - where creativity shines.
