It's well known that you should celebrate milestone anniversaries... This year, the 30th fish trap festival is traditionally held at Whitsun in Baabe. In the tranquil Kurpark, this weekend not only commemorates the history of fishing in our small Baltic resort, but also revives an old tradition: the ceremonial raising of the fish trap, a custom that once shaped the everyday life of fishermen.
