Wolfgang Jacobi (born 1894 in Bergen auf Rügen) was a German composer, music teacher, author and cultural organizer. He was considered a representative of neoclassicism or a "modern classicist".

Jacobi's compositional output includes instrumental works as well as vocal works in various genres and forms. He wrote around 200 compositions in total, of which only around half have survived.

His style, which is linked to the musical tradition, is characterized by formal balance and clarity; the harmony is still tonal, but greatly expanded. Jacobi strove to create music that was witty and entertaining, not easy but accessible to the listener.

Wolfgang Jacobi died at the age of 78 in his home in Munich.
