Comedy show with Tatjana Meissner
Between the first annual domino stone presentation in the supermarket in September and the removal of the last bare Christmas tree from Germany's sidewalks in March, we all press ourselves into a physical and mental coma until no one knows whether they are a man, woman or sexually open and food is perhaps better than sex after all. Everyone is left traumatized: exhausted, hungover and guilt-ridden.
But this year, the Christmas people can breathe a sigh of relief, because help is in sight.
In her new show, cabaret artist Tatjana Meissner offers humor and hormone therapy for all those who are only able to survive the never-ending Christmas season with helpless fits of laughter and exuberant humor.
With kitchen-psychology quibbles, the entertainer will explain what needled Christmas trees have to do with hair transplants, why men also have their periods and why godless East Germans should celebrate the birth of the Christ Child. The Meissner, who is moved to tears by cheesy Christmas songs, manages to wrap every topic, no matter how controversial, in wrapping paper and gives her audience two 45-minute shows that are filled to the brim like a Christmas sack with uproariously funny stories and realistically corrected hopes!
