Every August since 1995, Ludwigslust's baroque palace park has been the main stage when international artists perform on over 20 stages. They entertain and enchant the audience with artistry and acrobatics, comedy and clowning, masks and marionettes, puppetry and pantomime.

    CONCERT with The Humming Trees

    Behind "The Humming Trees" are violinist Ingeborg Freytag and guitarist and singer Jörg Schneider. Without trees there is no wood, without wood there are no instruments, without instruments there is no sound. The roots of the Humming Trees reach deep into the ground of American folk & blues music. The two not only play their own songs, but also like to interpret those of some of the protagonists of the Mississippi Delta Blues with a deep bow. These include Robert Johnson, Charley Patton and Skip James. Completely acoustic, reduced to vocals, guitar and violin. With a minimum of technical effort. So that you can hear the trees humming along when the Humming Trees start playing.
