Construct your own piece of furniture from natural materials under the guidance of nature park ranger Hubertus Holz Registration until 17.09., Tel.: 0385 588 648-30, 5 € p. p.
People have always used natural materials to make useful everyday objects. Even the first everyday objects were made from metal without modern aids such as screws or nails. This craftsmanship, which relies on the use of pure natural materials, has not been completely lost to this day. Not only can baskets be woven from flexible willow branches, but seating such as chairs and armchairs can also be made.
As part of an all-day workshop, the nature park, represented by ranger Hubertus Holz, invites interested parties to build their own pieces of furniture from natural materials. Under expert guidance, participants learn step by step how to create individual pieces of furniture from simple twigs and branches. At the end of the workshop, each participant can take their own personal piece of furniture home with them.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, September 19 from 10:00 to 18:00 at the nature park administration in Großen Luckow. A contribution towards expenses of 5 euros per person will be charged for participation. Please register by September 16 at the latest by calling 0385 588 648-30 or sending an e-mail to info-msk@lung.mv-regierung.de.
