The house for tourism, guests and citizens is located in the heart of the Vineta town Barth. Here you will find the Barth information, the Vineta experience world, the town library, the exhibition rooms of the DOK information center, a large ballroom, a multimedia room and from autumn 2022 the P8 coworking office.

With the 14th of March the Barth-Information (tourist information) got a new home for guests and residents.

In the Vineta-Bürgerhaus at Papenstraße 8 you will find a wealth of possibilities to plan your vacation every day, to visit events, to get inspiration and to visit our town library. The Vineta experience world takes our young guests into a play world around the sunken city that gave Barth its nickname.

Events such as concerts, readings, theater, lectures and celebrations take place in the large festival hall. Furthermore, the house offers a large multimedia room for seminars, celebrations, smaller lectures and readings.

You are planning a larger private or public event in Barth and are looking for a room? Then let your event take place in the Vineta-Bürgerhaus. The ballroom offers space for about 180 visitors, is equipped with a stage, high-quality lighting system, sound system, beamer and screen as well as bar and gastro-kitchen. Our multimedia room impresses with its sound system, projector and screen, tables and chairs and is ideal as a seminar room. Your contact person for rooms is Mr. Hammer, whom you can reach by phone 038231 37 420 or by e-mail tobias.hammer@stadt-barth.de.

The dark chapter of the city is explained in the DOK Information Center and will have its own large exhibition area in the Vineta-Bügerhaus.

By the fall of 2022, the house will feature "P8-Coworking," a modern coworking space that leaves nothing to be desired for guests, but also locals, for a balanced work-life integration.

The Vineta Civic Center is open from:

Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Saturday from 10:00 o'clock -14:00 o'clock

open for you.

"Honesty is the best policy", as the saying goes. But the adult education teachers Paula and Konstanze are moving with the times and say: "What do I gain if something lasts a long time but causes a lot of problems? Why should we have to deal with uncomfortable truths when you can even become president of the USA as a professional liar? Lying is wonderfully versatile! It brings success, protects friendships and makes life easier. It even boosts self-confidence and, if you are in dire need, you can even lie to yourself.
