When the wind blows from southwest to north, you can have a lot of fun on Schwerin's Outer Lake. Strong winds even conjure up small kicker waves on the otherwise smooth water.
Retgendorf is located on Schwerin's Outer Lake, only 20 minutes by car from Schwerin. Due to the good transport connection to the A14, you are quickly on the water here. The spot is located on a campsite and thus invites you to longer stays. But also for a short day trip this spot is clearly recommended. A surf school is on site to help you with words and deeds. Compared to the neighboring spot Flessenow, the standing area here is much smaller. But you can expect a small wave when there is a good wind. There is enough space to set up your equipment on the meadow behind the small beach strip. Beginners should be careful because of the small standing area or, if necessary, switch to the neighboring spot Flessenow. The spot is suitable for wind directions from SW to N.
