In a quiet location near Schwerin Castle, the modern short-term care facility offers bright, accessible rooms - also for accompanying persons without care needs. Care, comfort and excursion possibilities can be ideally combined here.
The modern facility, which specializes in solitary short-term care, is located in the middle of Schwerin's Feldstadt district, in a quiet location away from the main roads. The building was built in 2006 and catches the eye with its rounded architecture and friendly yellow façade.
Bright, accessible rooms on the upper floor offer an unobstructed view of the greenery through floor-to-ceiling windows and create a friendly atmosphere. Each room has its own bathroom with a floor-level shower, wheelchair-accessible washbasin, TV, WLAN and landline. Spacious double rooms with flexibly adjustable beds are available as well as single rooms. A special bonus: accompanying persons without care needs can stay in the same double room - just like in a hotel. This means you can stay together, even if only one person needs care. However, accommodation in a nearby hotel is also available as an option.
Four meals a day are served in the dining room. However, it is also possible to have these meals in your own room. Qualified nursing staff are available around the clock to provide the necessary support on an individual basis.
The central location offers numerous excursion possibilities in the immediate vicinity. Schwerin Castle, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since July 2024, is just a few minutes' walk away. The path there leads through the picturesque castle park. The market square and the 800-year-old cathedral are also within walking distance or can be reached by streetcar. This makes it easy to combine your stay with short excursions, relaxation and care in equal measure.
