Discover the island of Hiddensee or the Hanseatic City of Stralsund.

The Zingst shipping company is a line of the Norddeutsche Binnenreederei GmbH. You will travel on a modern passenger ship from the port of Zingst. You will experience the beauty of the National Park of Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft from the water side. Discover the sunny island of Hiddensee or the Hanseatic City of Stralsund with us, on a day trip from Zingst.

From April to October the boat trip to the island of Hiddensee or the Hanseatic City of Stralsund starts at 09.00 o'clock from the Zingst harbor. You can get to know the car-free sunny island by bike, carriage and on foot. In July and August, the shipping company offers evening cruises through the Bodden waters on Wednesdays. The tour starts at 20.00 from the port of Zingst. In autumn from mid-September to October we offer our moderated crane tours and nature tours with recognized bird experts.

Tickets for the excursion to the island of Hiddensee and to Stralsund can be ordered by phone through Reederei Zingst. You also have the option of purchasing tickets at the spa administration and at the shipping company's advance booking offices or directly on board the ship in the harbor.

Stralsund City Hall

The building, erected in the style of North German brick Gothic, whose construction dates back to the years 1300-1310, is one of the most important secular buildings on the Baltic coast. Above the large windows of the market front of the town hall, the coats of arms of the neighboring Hanseatic cities point to the importance of the Hanseatic League for Stralsund. The display gable is unique in the Baltic region.
