The round brick building is now a technical monument with a viewpoint.
The old water tower in Lübz is a striking building and an important testimony to the town's industrial history. It was built in 1913 and is 37 meters high. It was originally used to supply the town with water. In 2006, the tower was converted into an observation tower.
The tower is easily accessible thanks to a newly installed spiral staircase. A special highlight is the distant view from an additional level built into the former water collection tank, which offers visitors an impressive view over Lübz and the surrounding area.
