On the edge of the Bodden landscape near Garz is the historic Rosengarten estate - a place to take a deep breath, discover and meet people.
On the edge of the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve, Gut Rosengarten invites you to take a special break - embedded in a cultural landscape that combines authenticity, sustainability and stylish relaxation. The listed landscape park offers space for walks in historic surroundings. Fresh organic products from the estate's own production are available in the organic farm store.
The Hertha spring - discovered in 1903 - is only around 1,000 meters away from the estate. The mineral-rich water from this spring flows directly from the taps of the vacation apartments, which are housed in the former buildings of the historic bottling plant. The result is a small vacation village that impresses with its peaceful location, clean air and well thought-out sustainability concept - without compromising on contemporary comfort.
The non-profit Gut Rosengarten Foundation is committed to preserving the listed estate and makes it accessible for vacation guests, cultural events, seminars and nature experiences. The estate park invites you to explore, the vegan café offers culinary delights, while regional diversity is cultivated in the organic market garden and the Rügen tree nursery. A place steeped in history that is open to new perspectives.
