In Prerow, photographer, gallery owner and journalist Ekkehart Nupnau opened a new gallery for art and photography at Waldstraße 7 in June 2022. The focus of his exhibitions throughout the year is the multi-talented Armin Mueller-Stahl.

The 92-year-old actor, writer, studied concert violinist AND painter has had close personal contact with Ekkehart Nupnau for many years. Thus, the gallery shows not only a large selection of prints of the exceptional artist, but also UNIKATE and unique serigraphs. The presentation is constantly updated so that the latest works by Mueller-Stahl can always be seen.

The gallery is also proud of the extensive presentation of lithographs by Nobel Prize winner Günter Grass. Currently on display are the illustrations of Andersen's fairy tales. Günter Grass was commissioned by the Danish royal family to illustrate Andersen's fairy tales on the 200th anniversary of his birth.

Other artists in the gallery include Professor Markus Lüpertz, Max Grimm, Georges Grosz and Michael Ferner.

The gallery is open daily.
