Hike along the Caspar David Friedrich picture trail and be surprised by 15 romantic places that Caspar David used as motifs for his world-famous paintings around 1800.

From the Caspar David Friedrich Center, which also offers guided tours along the picture trail, the trail leads to the cathedral, the university and St. Jacob's Church, the Ryck and the harbour, the ruins of Eldena Monastery, which Caspar David Friedrich made internationally famous, and the Dänische Wiek.

3rd SOKO Wismar - In search of clues in the Hanseatic city of Wismar

Crime fans get their money's worth in the Hanseatic city of Wismar. A corpse in the harbor basin or chases through the alleys - these and other filming locations of the ZDF crime series SOKO Wismar, which has been produced since 2004, will take you on a city tour of the same name from March to October. Along the way, you will learn one or two exciting or funny stories from the set.

5. culinary exploration of the Hanseatic city of Rostock

6th historical city tour in the four-gate city of Neubrandenburg

Town mayor and quasi mayor „Herbord von Raven“ asks for law and order to be observed. Fritz Reuter's „Mudder Schulten“ reports on the history of the town from the point of view of a resolute mayor's wife. „Night watchwoman Anna“ gives an insight into the somewhat wicked and dark history of Neubrandenburg and, according to legend, the bells of St. Mary's Church saved the life of the „wool weaver Matthias Gerling“. Changing historical personalities from Neubrandenburg take visitors on a search for clues through the four-gate city.

7. with the night watchman through Güstrow in the evening

The night watchman, who has been ensuring safety and order at night with a lantern and typical garb since the Middle Ages and sometimes also announced the time, takes night owls to the cathedral, Renaissance castle, town hall, parish church and other historic places in the old town. The gourmet night tour also includes a delicious gourmet meal and a visit to the North German Nativity Scene Museum in the run-up to Christmas.
