Following last year’s success, the youth choir of the Ludwigslust City Parish will return for a guest performance on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Conow Church. Look forward to a varied concert featuring everything from Bach to gospel and modern songs.
Once a week, they meet in Ludwigslust for a joint rehearsal: the approximately 20 young people in the youth choir of the Ludwigslust City Parish. The singers, aged 14 to 19, are united by one thing above all else—their love of music and singing together.
For their concert in Conow, the choir has put together a varied program: From works by Johann Sebastian Bach to Romantic classics and compositions by John Rutter, all the way to gospel and modern songs, visitors can look forward to a musical journey for young and old alike. Trumpeter Christian Krüger will also be performing as a special guest.
The choir is directed by Jannes Wendt, cantor of the Stadtkirche in Ludwigslust. With a keen understanding of the young singers, he knows how to combine musical quality with enthusiasm and a sense of community. Since the young choir director himself hails from Conow, he was particularly pleased to accept the invitation from the Förderverein Conower Kirche e.V.
Anyone who would like to experience the youth choir live is cordially invited to the Conow Church on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free—donations are gratefully accepted. Visitors can look forward to a summery concert evening filled with young voices, rousing music, and palpable enthusiasm.
