To celebrate the day, we invite and encourage you to write a poem again this year. In any form and on any subject.
In 2000, UNESCO proclaimed March 21 as "World Poetry Day". The aim of the World Poetry Day is to remind people of the importance of poetry, the diversity of language as a cultural asset and the significance of oral traditions.
Join in, write poetry! For example an "Elfchen". Young and old alike can do this.
Submissions, preferably with a drawing or photo, to Malchow Town Library.
The town library is looking forward to receiving creative works.
