Fascinating snapshots of nature from the international photo competition complement the permanent exhibition from 09.12.2025 to 22.03.2026.
The annual nature photography competition is entering its next quarter of a century and is evolving with the times: this year there is a small new category: "Add with AI". The decision was made in 2023. Because just as drone photography was once unheard of, this way of editing a photo has now also found its way into photography. The competition jury did not make it easy for themselves and there were endless discussions about how to control photos that use AI and integrate it into images. But it became clear: this technology cannot be stopped or rejected, it can only be steered, hence the new category.
A comprehensive accompanying book with the same title is available to support the image-rich exhibition and contains detailed information on all the award-winning images. The book is available in the Müritzeum store and allows visitors to take the award-winning photographic works home with them in pocket format and immerse themselves once again in the intense and expressive motifs and, above all, in the stories behind the images.
Let yourself be drawn into the fascinating world of nature! The special exhibition will be on display at the Nature Experience Center in Waren (Müritz) until March 22 next year. The visit is included in the admission price.
