Understanding AI – Getting Started Safely: Artificial intelligence has long been a part of everyday life—whether it’s writing, researching, planning, translating, summarizing, organizing, or developing new ideas. At the same time, there are many questions: What can AI really do? What are its limitations? Which tools are useful? What do I need to consider regarding data protection, copyright, and reliability?
This hands-on workshop provides an accessible introduction to artificial intelligence—without getting bogged down in technical details and without requiring any prior knowledge. Together, we’ll explore how AI works, how it can be used in the day-to-day operations of businesses, organizations, local governments, educational institutions, and self-employed individuals, and how effective prompts lead to better results. The workshop combines orientation with hands-on experimentation: Participants will learn about typical AI applications, test simple use cases, and develop a sense of how AI can be used effectively, safely, and responsibly.
Here’s what to expect:

- An overview of typical AI tools and areas of application
- Practical examples for writing, planning, researching, and organizing
- Simple prompt formulas for better results
