“Wild Etudes & Tender Songs”
Pianist, singer, and composer Thomas Putensen performs his concerts as a remarkable blend of classical, pop, rock, and lighthearted, satirical poetry.
He draws an unusual concert atmosphere from these quite diverse stylistic elements
and gladly lets the course of the afternoon be guided by the audience’s mood and the inspiration that arises from it.
Putensen’s songs, including “Artgerechte Wohnung,” “Nordwind,” and excerpts from his piano concerto, blend the sound of the North with world music accents and, with the occasional evergreen by Holger Biege and Manfred Krug, provide the afternoon with a few truly enriching highlights.
The concerts, themed “Wild Etudes, Tender Songs,” are an almost understated description of his artistic ambitions and thus consistently make for a special experience.
