Frank Wilhelm reads from his bestsellers
"One more joke, please!" That was one of the last sentences from the audience at the amusing reading with Frank Wilhelm and Kerstin Fiedler-Wilhelm three years ago in the Stavenhagen City Library. Visitors to the sold-out event may remember that Frank Wilhelm really did have a GDR joke up his sleeve.
Now there is a sequel. Nordkurier journalist and author Frank Wilhelm will be presenting new stories from his book "Einfach total genial, warum wir Ossis nicht zu bremsen sind" (Simply totally brilliant, why we Ossis can't be stopped), as well as unpublished dad columns about his son Otto. He will also take a satirical look at the controversial topic of gender language with new stories. Finally, there will once again be a picture puzzle with small prizes for clever guests. And Wilhelm is guaranteed to be able to tell old and new Ossi-Wessi jokes if you wish.
He is one of the most widely read authors at the Nordkurier: the journalist Frank Wilhelm, who is not only at home in current affairs, but is also particularly committed to history.
The reading will take place on April 17, 2026 at 7 p.m. in the Fritz Reuter Literature Museum.
