Then you can pick up the skat hand again in the East-West debate and say: let's start again. Charly Hübner
DER HELD VOM BAHNHOF FRIEDRICHSTRASSE tells the story of Micha Hartung (Charly Hübner), a Berlin video store owner on the verge of bankruptcy, who inadvertently becomes an all-German hero: When a journalist stylizes him as the mastermind behind the largest mass exodus in the GDR on the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Wall, his life is suddenly turned upside down. As an impostor against his will, Micha becomes entangled in a tangle of half-truths and outright lies.
And when the fragile house of cards of history threatens to collapse around him and his life really sinks into chaos, he meets Paula (Christiane Paul). Micha would never have thought it possible that a successful, clever and witty woman like her could be interested in a man like him. But the budding love story is overshadowed by the lie.
