Wolf Iro, born in 1970, studied Comparative Literature and Slavic Studies at Cambridge, Oxford, and Moscow. He earned his Ph.D. from LMU Munich with a dissertation on Isaak Babel. Since 2004, he has held various positions in international cultural exchange. He lives and works in Berlin.
