Lecture on historical murals in Stralsund town houses through the ages from the Middle Ages to modern times
Using the example of many wall paintings and wall designs, most of which have been preserved in non-public buildings, the development of room decoration is shown from the Middle Ages through the Renaissance, Baroque and Classicism to the elaborately designed corridor paintings of the 19th and 20th centuries. Some of the photographs include paintings that are no longer preserved or visible today.
