Creative Writing Evening for Everyone, Even Those with No Prior Experience
On November 20 at 7 p.m., the popular typewriter round-robin will take place once again at the Ping Pong Salon. This creative writing evening is explicitly open to everyone—not just professional writers. Anyone can join in—especially if they aren’t authors or professional writers, or if they’ve never written before.
The concept is simple: After each writing round, participants switch seats and continue writing another person’s story. This way, different styles and texts intertwine, and some stories take a completely new turn. Writing takes place on retro mechanical typewriters. Snacks and drinks are available on site. Ping-pong tables are available to help overcome any writer’s block. So the next great idea is always just one rally away.
To register for one of the limited spots, contact Jens Wiesner: wiesnerjens@gmail.com or via www.pingpongsalon.de
Admission is free. The nonprofit association Bürger, Horst & Freund:innen, which runs the Ping Pong Salon, welcomes donations.
