An audiovisual journey through sound.
Will you join us on an audiovisual journey through Rheinsberg? Commissioned by Musikkultur Rheinsberg, Jonas Urbat and Nicolas Haumann (SoundWERK) set out to discover what Rheinsberg sounds like. They present the final result in a brand-new composition for electronics, guitar, drums, strings, tuba, and video. It is an artistic tribute to Rheinsberg and its residents. The live music will be accompanied by a film shot in Rheinsberg. Together with everyone involved, the musicians explore the big and small details that make Rheinsberg so special.
After the world premiere, the story doesn’t end on stage. The sounds and images will be used to create a standalone SoundWERK music video. The result is a short, concise soundscape portrait of the city of Rheinsberg.
The event will begin with a brief artist talk between artistic director Jelle Dierickx and the two artists, Jonas Urbat and Nicolas Haumann.
