Think Together – Enjoy Music, Experience Art, and Discover History
A special afternoon on Sunday, September 6, 2026, will bring together music, art, and history.
The event kicks off at 3:00 p.m. with a concert by the Young Wind Players, conducted by Martin Hus, at the Wöbbelin Church. The program then continues at 4:00 p.m. at the Wöbbelin Memorial Sites.
There, visitors can attend the closing event for the special exhibition “Ghetto Images,” featuring the striking works of Polish painter Zdzisław Lachur. Collector Jürgen Dawo will provide insights into the artist’s life and work (to be confirmed). Guided tours will also be offered through the permanent exhibitions “10 Weeks at the Wöbbelin Concentration Camp” and “Theodor Körner. 1791–1813. Poet and Patriot. His Rise to Iconship.” In between, there will be time for conversation over coffee and cake.
The afternoon event is organized by the Wöbbelin Memorial Sites in collaboration with the Evangelical Lutheran Parish of Groß Laasch–Lüblow–Wöbbelin.
Admission is free. All interested parties are cordially invited.
