Off to the South – The Schlager Musical is coming to Rostock on January 8, 2027, at the Kongresshaus Rosengarten. With Germany’s biggest hits, a whirlwind vacation story, and plenty of good cheer, the audience is in for a rousing evening. Three couples who couldn’t be more different meet at a vacation hotel on the Italian Riviera and, with their flirtations, mood swings, and endearingly human dramas, cause quite a bit of confusion and some curious situations. The whirlwind story is set to a soundtrack of around 50 of the biggest German hits from the past 60 years.
In this professionally choreographed show, classics such as “ANITA,” HULAPALU, ER GEHÖRT ZU MIR, TAGE WIE DIESE, SCHULD WAR NUR DER BOSA NOVA, VERDAMMT, ICH LIEB DICH, WAHNSINN, MAJOR TOM, and many more skillfully with a whirlwind story. A brilliant sound and light show perfectly sets the scene for the action on stage.
