Wednesdays, October 14 & 28, November 11 & 25, December 16, 2026, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
“How does that work again?” “Where do I press?” The SilverSurfers are on hand as “senior technology ambassadors” to answer all the big and small “how” and “where” questions about smartphones, cell phones, tablets, or PCs. The volunteers were trained by the Institute for Social Research and Continuing Professional Education (ISBW) and volunteer their time to help anyone seeking assistance.
They’ve made it their mission to connect people and foster community. Together with those seeking help, they work out solutions to any operational problems that arise. The focus is on mutual support.
The next consultation dates at the Waren (Müritz) City Library have now been announced:
October 14 & 28,
November 11 & 25,
December 16, 2026,
from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
Anyone seeking assistance is warmly invited to attend.
The “SilverSurfer” project is funded by the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, and Sports in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
