Late summer is the time of love for red deer.
Every day, the proud stags put on a new concert and show off their antlers and manes to impress the ladies. We cycle through the Darßwald forest to the Darßer Ort port of refuge and from there hike along the circular trail to the viewing platform. There are lots of interesting and exciting things to learn about the national park, the country and its people and, with a bit of luck, we can watch the deer rutting at Darßer Ort and listen to them bellowing.
