The Art of the Brazilian Guitar
An Institution of the Brazilian Guitar
With his program *The ART of BRAZILGUITAR*, guitarist Martin Müller—whom the *Süddeutsche Zeitung* has described as “an institution of the Brazilian guitar in Germany”—presents the world of Brazilian guitar music. Bossa nova, samba, and the lesser-known musical realms of Brazil—performed with heart and soul, with passion, melancholy, and intensity—virtuosically interpreted by a musician who has long dedicated himself to this unique and versatile music.
Through his travels and collaborations with musicians from Brazil, he has developed a distinctive and expressive compositional style for the guitar over the course of his more than 40-year career. The magazine *Akustik Gitarre* called him “a visionary on the nylon-string guitar.” In 1978, he released his first LP, followed by approximately 30 additional recordings—in addition to various specialized publications—that showcase his extraordinary versatility as a composer and performer. A must-see—not just for guitar fans.
