The 3rd dimension Sculptures from the collection
The Kunsthalle Rostock has a diverse collection of sculptures. In addition to sculptures and sculptural works, it also includes installations and mixed-media works. Their formal language ranges between figuration and abstraction. Selected works from the collection will be restaged in the Schaudepot by the curator and research assistant at the Kunsthalle Rostock, Antje Schunke, and presented under certain aspects. Both connoisseurs of the Rostock collection and visitors from abroad will be able to approach the collection in a new way. In particular, positions from the international Baltic Sea region will be taken into account, thus highlighting the special nature of the Rostock art collection. Guided tours and other educational formats will introduce the interested public to different ways of viewing the works of art.
