The success story of this magnificent singer has been chronicled by journalist and host Christine Dähn, the most beautiful voice of DT 64. It’s an endless love story—stunning, thrilling, sexy, and rock ’n’ roll. The “King of Ballads,” songwriter, and keyboardist Thomas Natschinski didn’t just compose “Berührung,” the most beautiful love song from the GDR. He’s an expert in the world of love and rock ’n’ roll songs.
He’ll play and sing them in this concert, and Christine Dähn will share the most beautiful stories and anecdotes from her book about Ute Freudenberg, the “Thursday Rose”: Ute’s childhood sweetheart, her love for Mäxchen the pig and the country air, Herbert Grönemeyer’s slurred vowels, and her love for the main street of Weimar Schöndorf, where John Lennon refused to have his glasses repaired.
