Every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the outdoor grounds of AGRONEUM Alt Schwerin become a showcase for living technology history.
During the regular demonstrations, the technical team presents a historic machine from the museum’s extensive collection—complete with expert commentary and a chance to see it in action. Visitors gain fascinating insights into how this historic technology works and learn about the roles these machines played in agriculture and daily life in the past. Whether it’s the drive system, operating principles, or areas of application, the demonstrations vividly illustrate how technological developments shaped the work of past generations.
The machines are put into operation on-site, allowing visitors to authentically experience their sounds, movements, and work processes. Each demonstration focuses on a different historic machine, offering fresh insights time and again for technology enthusiasts, families, and museum visitors of all ages.
The technical demonstrations take place on the outdoor grounds of AGRONEUM Alt Schwerin and are included in the regular museum admission.
