Historical machines in action
Every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the AGRONEUM Alt Schwerin outdoor area becomes the scene of living technical history. During the regular demonstrations, the technical team presents a historical machine from the museum's extensive collection - expertly explained and experienced directly in operation. Visitors gain exciting insights into how the historical technology works and find out what tasks the machines used to perform in agriculture and everyday life. Whether drive, mode of operation or field of application: the demonstrations make it possible to vividly experience how technical developments shaped the work of past generations.
The machines are put into operation on site so that sounds, movements and work processes can be authentically reproduced. Each demonstration is dedicated to a different historical machine and thus always offers new impressions for technology enthusiasts, families and museum visitors of all ages.
The technology demonstrations take place on the outdoor area of the AGRONEUM Alt Schwerin and are included in the regular museum admission.
