Passion, rhythm, and South American sounds: The Tango Night honors Saúl Cosentino on his 90th birthday and combines his music with works by Astor Piazzolla.
The Tango Night at the Hotel Fischerwiege is dedicated to the Argentine composer and pianist Saúl Cosentino, whose 90th birthday will be celebrated with a special concert. Alongside works by Astor Piazzolla, the evening promises to be filled with passion, energy, and delicately nuanced chamber music.
Zsuzsa Balint and Cristian Niculescu on piano will perform alongside Antonia Hadulla on double bass, Florin Paul and Catherine Warner on violin, Radu Nagy and Manuel von der Nahmer on cello, and the Syrinx Trio. The ensemble brings the dance rhythms, melancholic hues, and virtuosic contrasts of the tango to Ahrenshoop in a rich variety of chamber music.
This event is part of the Ahrenshoop Chamber Music Festival.
