On October 7, two events at the Neubrandenburg Art Collection will explore surrealism in literature, music, and film.
While the special exhibition “Spaces of Longing” showcases the full range of surrealist painting and graphic art in the GDR, the events on October 7 offer a glimpse into Surrealist poetry in the GDR and the contemporary reception of this style in film and music.
6:00 p.m. “Die wilden am Tollensesee.” Michaela Winterstein reads texts by Elke Erb, Gert Neumann, Wolfgang Hilbig, Lutz Rathenow, Uwe Kolbe, and Cornelia Schleime.
