Massive images present themselves full of life, idiosyncratic, explosive, abstract & colorful. Whit Monday from 6 pm Music & Word

Sabine U. Kamke paints almost private, very idiosyncratic and above all fundamentally honest pictures, driven as if by an inner leader, deep from the soul, explosive. Her creative urge usually comes in spurts, unrestrained, like a mugging. In such a period she hardly sleeps, isolates herself from outside contacts and eats little. "My paintings tell me when they are finished." The message of her paintings does not reveal itself at first glance. Rather, questions arise, irritations. Colors, forms and the composition of the paintings reflect personal moods and process-like thrusts in the inner development of the painter. The paintings are thus visible witnesses of a lively development, which was not always characterized by joy, light and bright colors. The viewer's own memories are awakened and can trigger lively reactions. However, some people come to rest and find peace, confidence and hope at the latest in a personal conversation with the painter.
