The interdisciplinary exhibition project "Bach runter - Strom auf" was created in collaboration between scientists from the Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research Warnemünde (IOW) and artists from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The aim of the project is to thematize water as an existential element in the field of tension between culture, ecology and future issues.
Artistic works and accompanying information on complex research dealing with topics such as water quality, the diversity of aquatic life, currents, climate change and human intervention in aquatic systems will be presented. The exhibition will be complemented by lectures, presentations and moderated talks, which will also take place in the Edvard Munch House.
